Clay Colvin,
Owner
CEO Clay Colvin has a passion for helping people, especially those that grow businesses. After a degree in Computer Engineering from Georgia Tech and experience with a large corporation, Clay returned home to Augusta, GA to fill an impersonal gap in telecom services. After 26 years of satisfied clients, he continues to lead GABN’s mission to place a high priority on people and enabling growth with communications technology.
He is an Experienced Entrepreneur, Business Strategist, and Executive Advisor with a demonstrated history of working in the telecommunications industry and non-profit sector. He combines strong business development and organizational leadership, negotiation, entrepreneurship, strategic partnerships, strategic planning, team building, and IT/telecom strategy for businesses and non-profits.
Aaron Lasher,
Director of Operations
Aaron Lasher started his career in outside sales before moving into information systems management at a large corporation. From there, he spent time on the customer experience side of a major internet service provider. That path gave him something rare: the technical depth to solve real problems and the customer-first instinct to communicate them clearly.
A privately held IT shop was the natural next step, and that’s where Aaron found his niche. After more than a decade with GABN, he’s grown from hands-on technical work into a leadership role, helping guide the team and the clients we serve.
Aaron’s approach reflects what GABN is all about. Be a trusted advisor, not just a technician. He believes technology should work quietly in the background so clients can focus on what they’re actually there to do. Run their business, grow it, and protect it.
Joseph Huygen,
Director of Technology
Joseph Huygen is the Director of Technology with a background spanning military cyber operations, systems administration, software development, and network engineering. He began his career serving three years in the U.S. Army as a 35Q Network Warfare Specialist before transitioning into government contracting, where he gained extensive experience in IT and software development.
After joining GABN as a Network Engineer, Joseph advanced to Director of Technology, where he leads technology strategy, infrastructure, and innovation initiatives.

A long time ago a phone company tried to charge me $300 to change the time on our phones for daylight savings time. And it was all because they had the password that only they controlled. It took 30 seconds and it cost us $300. Let me tell you why GABN exists. We’re engineers. We like to solve problems. And we really get frustrated when a small business is held hostage by something as simple as a password.
So in 1995, a group of engineers got together and started a business that began to protect small businesses from overpriced, overcomplicated technology. And today we’re still in business. 30 years later, we’re still right-sizing the value, protecting businesses from overpriced or overcomplicated technology that doesn’t have to be.
